I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. I am a firm believer in connection on a very deep, human level. Therapy is one of my greatest passions, and I am humbled to be able to connect with people in such a transformational way; simultaneously learning from, and often feeling inspired by those I work with and by the work we do together. I strive to curate my approach to each individual.

It is essential to me to create a relationship that is based out of authenticity and openness, empathy and compassion, and maybe some humour. After all - this whole life thing is pretty strange... To learn more about my approach, click below.

I am a realistic optimist. From my personal and professional experiences, I feel like I have a real understanding of the sometimes harsh truths of this life, and yet, I am endlessly hopeful. I am fascinated by the world and by humans. I try to live as though I already arrived at the end of my life, but was given a do-over. Obviously I am not always able to think this way... but when I do, I find I am able to step outside of life's cyclical and sometimes mundane nature and have more appreciation of the little things! It also helps me recognize where I do not want to spend energy. I am a lover of poetry and the beautiful use of words and language, hiking, road-trips (and car karaoke!), exploring, thrifting, and crafting.  I dislike (but am also guilty of): small-talk and the inherent human urgency to fill silence. Let's try to be comfortable with pause, with stillness, reflection.

I guess you want to know my debatably less interesting (but equally as important) facts: my credentials and education. Please read more below!
